Berkeley is preparing an outline planning application for a residential-led masterplan including a new collection of family homes and biodiverse, public green spaces in Effingham, Surrey.
Our vision is for a thoughtfully designed, landscape-led development that builds on the qualities that make Effingham special, and is inspired by the village’s character, identity and sense of place.
This website will provide the latest information about our proposals as they emerge, the timeline and status of our application, and will provide a place for you to share your views. We hope to deliver a masterplan influenced by the people who live, work in and visit Effingham.

We have continued to develop our proposals following the first round of public consultation, and have listened to the thoughts and feedback shared with us.
